Problem Statement
Project of development and redesigning of the website
Joel Lava is a director, art director, and creative director. He approached our company for a complete website revamp and redesign. He had a custom design in mind and provided us with hand-drawn mockups for reference. So, we have a task to develop the website based on his hand-drawn mockups. We also had to ensure the website design would be visually appealing, user-friendly, and easy to navigate. He also asked us to incorporate all the features and functionality needed in a website. So we have to redesign his website by using all the techniques that our company knows. Joel also wants to get a website design that is consistent and user-friendly.
Action Plan
We know very well how to understand the vision and requirements of our client. So, for this purpose, we used our collaborative approach to design and develop the website where the client was involved at every stage. We also used a combination of mockups, wireframes, and prototypes to communicate the design and functionality to the client. So, we started the website design process by taking the client's hand-drawn mockups and developing them into a fully-fledged design. Then, we moved the project into the development phase, where we built the website and ensured it was functional and bug-free. Remember that the project's scope was limited to development and design. So, we showcased his portfolio on the website. We also included a section where he displayed his work from YouTube, Dailymotion, and other platforms. We built the website using WordPress. As a result, the website was responsive and mobile-friendly, optimized using search engines, and hosted on a secure server.
